This is how we traditionally choose potatoes, based on their texture when cooked. As the main ingredient for a delicious stew, or for pan-fried potatoes.
BLOCK BOTTOM BAGS AND STAND-UP BAGS
Our basics are available in 1kg block bottom bags (Quadroseal) and in 2,5kg stand-up bags (Carry Fresh bags).
Block bottom bags can be customized with your own text, for example a language of your choice.
WHOLESALE PACKAGING
For large customers, the basics are available in various types and sizes of packaging, including net and jute bags, plastic crates with cover sheets and open boxes.

Premium Quality Grill and Jacket potatoes
Our Grillers are specially selected potatoes with a very attractive, smooth skin and round-oval shape, suitable for roasting and grilling. They are available in various weight grades because each potato is individually weighed and sorted. They are available in closed 15 kg boxes or 25 kg bales.

CONVENIENCE POTATOES
For Convenience Potatoes we combine fresh potatoes with ‘convenience’. At Jac van den Oord CONVENIENCE comes in 2 “flavors”: fast or easy.
Fast.
STEAMERS are to be put in the microwave without opening the packaging. A smart valve in the packaging ensures that the potatoes will be cooked within 7 minutes..
Easy.
ROASTERS are packed in an aluminum baking tray. The only thing you must do, is to stir the marinade through the potatoes and the oven does the rest! ROASTERS are available in 2 flavours: Provençal and Smokey BBQ.
